Hmmm, no specific challenges to complete this month (but of course the big one in March, 10000 steps a day…..eeek) so have decided to focus on March 2018 as my subject matter.
Apart from Walking all over Cancer (here’s the link in case you wanted to sponsor me: fundraise.cancerresearchuk.org/page/polly-walks-all-over-cancer) I have a few challenges to myself that I’m aiming to hit.
I’ve been thinking more and more about bread making, I mean, most of the sliced bread you buy has Palm Oil in it so as i’m trying to avoid that, maybe I should challenge myself to make bread every week, just so I have more practise and I can then eat as much as I like – guilt free!
Here’s my proudest little loafs so far!!
So what else do I want to achieve? Hmmm, it’s a difficult choice as I spend so long thinking I cannot do something that to give myself challenges can get tricky and make me feel worse about myself if they are not adequately completed.
I would like to be more organised, and am trying to implement that in my home as well as at work, so I’m going to (this weekend) clean out both the wardrobe and drawers in the bedroom, get rid of clothes I don’t wear and give them away, to be fair most of my clothes are so old and battered that they would probably work better as dust rags but still, the thought is there to de clutter my life!
I also (very sadly) got ridiculously excited to get my new cool bag/lunch pack in the post. So another challenge to myself is to get organised so I can start making more food at home and spending less. I’ve pretty much decided i’m going to join a slimming world group so am hoping this will kick start me into being fitter/healthier/thinner and just feeling a bit more positive about myself. Look how cute the little bag is!!!
so, a few things to challenge myself over the next month or so. Wish me luck!
What challenges do you have ahead? anything you’re taking on and want to share? I’d love to hear your stories and get any suggestions for any of the above, staying on plan, getting myself out more to hit the steps or even just bread baking tips – all very gratefully received.
